SATURDAY

Hello Monsters. (applicable to Gaga fans only)

Saturday. Started at 6.30am. Woke up, showered, packed up the last of the stuff that's needed for the Pulai Springs thing. To be exact, MALAM SELINGKAR KASIH SERIMBUN KENANGAN (MASIH 2010). I got tired of untangling my tongue everytime I say that phrase. Ugh. It was themed Fantasia Romantika. I dressed as an English gentleman. At least what I managed to scrape in at this last minute. LOL~ Oh, and BTW, I'm Head of Logistics for this event and formal emcee too.

- Went to wait for the others at 8am (the proposed time of meeting). 8am becomes 9am. Typically Malaysian.

- Arrived at Pulai Springs Resort. On Muhaimin's bike (thanks Min!). Bag is in Nadia's car. Arrived there, helped about with stuff (hampers, gifts, goodie bags, etc) to be carried into the ballroom. Arrived in hall, appalled at the musky stale smell of the ballroom. The heat didn't help either. And it was SMALLER than I imagined - cramped quarters...Hurm. *thoughts to myself*

- The rest of the gang arrived. Breakfast arrived (thanks Nadia!) Ate and ate before proceeding to touch up on my script for the night. Worked with Ema, Botak and Safwan (A great team of emcees)

- Worked and worked and worked. I gave a bit of advice to practically every committee member...well, I do have some experience in these, so why not give out something? I wasn't bossy or anything, just advice, not orders. More touching up of script as there were last minute changes.

- Evening. Almost all went back. COME ON LAH! They told yours truly to bring my clothes to get dressed here. But most of them went back to get dressed. Effed up, it is. Not fair. But whatevs. Nobody (except a select few) cared to stay to stay back to watch over the stuff. I got showered, changed, and stayed. Moved around a lot that night even before the emcee gig. Hopefully it made up for the pigging out I did later on. LOL!

- Night. Planned starting: 6.30pm. Actual starting: 8.30pm!!! WTF man. LOL. Whatevs...So I just winged it. Got annoyed at the audience, so I kinda accidentally on purpose lashed out a mini-fit on stage and got stern. Hey, it was a fair exchange: You give me bullshit and I shall return the favor. The rest of the night went as usual, with me blacking-out in the middle of the show. No, I didn't pass out, but it caused my thoughts and subsequently my mind to become muddled and I kinda slurred. SORRY for THAT...Huhuhuhu~

- Finished my shift - sat at the table with the others. Chatted a while, and then got hold of the DSLR that Bal loaned. Got around enjoying my 15 seconds of FUN with the camera. Chatted up with Faizah, a fellow coursemate. The food was scrumptious!!! It was like going into Jamie Oliver's or Nigella Lawson's house to eat!!!

- The finale: got on stage for one last time, said our apologies, hoped everybody had fun and enjoyed the fare, and good night~

- Picture time: Strangely, out of the HUNDRED of pictures that were involved last night, I didn't see much of mine. I'm peeved by this. - Some of the pics that I got on my humble camphone... ;)

hello hello peeps - i've been absent from blogging for a while, i know...lately my energy's too scattered for me to focus on blogging things that happened around me. any extra hours i get will be spent on sleeping off the lethargy of, basically, life.

recently i spent more time with my friends from property management - juju (my bff), nisa, syaz and mimi. they're quite busy with assignments and all, and they were quite tired of being cooped up in utm, stuck in their rooms doing the assignments. so, they decided to get out of it all and do their work outside....and i went along with them. i myself needed to smile and laugh once in a while...i noticed that it's been a while since i've laughed properly - the surroundings just don't warrant a place for glee and a hearty laugh. i think they're one of the groups of people that i can really be myself with - i could just be myself around them. no need to put on a mask to kiss anybody's ass.

in one of our conversation, one of the girls (let's call her miss a) said that the other girl (miss b) likes to read my blog. she said that it's insightful and the language style pleases her. well, im pleased that my blog entries have made someone happy - i may not have the most followers, but i know that someone does read it and is pleased by it...you know who you are, and a big thanks to you :)

My last update is around after CNY, before I head home to UTM. LOL. It's been so long. I'm a bit lazy to update this, and I don't know how and what to talk about. Huhuhu so, let's just open a new page and write about what happened last night-slash-this-morning. :P

I had extra class last night - spatial statistics. Not really an extra class but a retimed class. We were supposed to have that class at 4pm, but he retimed it to 8.45pm. What a pain, man. But whatevs - it's just a class and I don't have anything to do that night anyway. At least that's what I thought :P

So off we went to class, walking. I accompanied Ms Lim Mei Yee (my fellow coursemate) as she was alone. No harm in that. We arrived early, but well, as Malaysian Timing goes, it didn't start at 8.45pm, but later than that. Okay, he came, he taught, he left. It was spatial statistics, specifically about area patterns. I found class to be interesting in the first half hour, and then drifted off to nowhere. LOL. After that I accompanied her back. Walking too. When I reached my room, there was a YM window open - Dyana! I tried to reply but it turns out that it was offline already. So off I went to call her. She asked me out, along with her roommate Sherry. She said to bring books along to study in McD later - we weren't going to go back in the wee hours; it requires card-scanning and potentially blacklisting. LOL.

So we headed to our 1st destination - Singgah Selalu for shisha. I kinda was worried coz I had no dinner. It was crowded. We moved around twice before settling down to a comfortable, shisha-friendly spot. I took a Durian Mega Gel ABC, and got the shisha. We always take a long time deciding what flavor of shisha to take, so this time we winged it - CHOCOLATE. It didn't even taste like Chocolate, and I did most of it. Sherry second, while Dyana did the least shisha. Huhuhu we left early that night as the crowd was kinda boring and we were kinda bored. After SS we went to go round over to Stulang towards the Zon. At this moment, I don't recall anything actually. I just remembered babbling, and being all crazy. Seriously, it's been a while since I've had shisha, and coupled with the fact that I had it with an empty stomach, I guess I was pretty banged-up last night. HAHAHA~

Okay, we ended the night with McD. Not the one outside UTM this time - we had to escape it and went on being ourselves for once. So here are some of the pix of us in McD...

I was so high last night, it seems. I recall Dyana and Sherry calling me "sot". Hahaha~. And I think I made quite a scene in McD. Being loud and crazy. Hahaha...well, I won't be returning there anytime soon...I hope :P

I wish I had more of these all-nighters...although it's hell to pay when daybreak comes... :D
