Some Thoughts

It's so debilitating to see your friends in trouble and not being able to help them. I just want to cry! They have been working so HARD - some to the point of exhaustion (they may be smiling and having jokes, but their eyes and pallor and overstretched patience betray EVERYTHING) and the result is not so nice. I'd LOVE to help, that's why I haven't been able to decline their requests. I just keep this thought in mind: "THINK ABOUT THE TEAM - DON'T THINK ABOUT YOURSELF. THROUGH THICK AND THIN"

This friend of mine acts so weird lately - as though it (I'm not giving away the gender) was avoiding me. One day we were about town together, the next it's like we never knew each other. AT ALL. Did I offend it in some way? Did I say anything nasty? We used to do stuff together. I just dismissed it as a busy period for the both of us, but what I see, it still goes through stuff nicely without me. What I meant to say is, it seemed content of not having me in its life. Weird. Whatever I did, I could only apologize to you. I may have offended you in one way or another, but I don't know in what way.

..::SPRING CLEANING::..

I finally had some time to myself yesterday - actually there were some work to do, but I really need the de-cluttering, especially my room. I was so preoccupied with other stuff that my room was becoming a dust bowl! So I put on my Sony MP3, took off my shirt, pinch a broom from the broom closet, and set off to work!

Started off with rearranging the stuff on my desk - it was just too dated - I changed it up; after that, I rearranged the furniture according to my dream room - since I already have the room to myself, why not assert some command over it. I've always dreamed of having a daybed by a sunny window, but I haven't had the chance to have one yet. IMPROVISE! I pushed my bed over to under the window...aww...sweet! :D

After rearranging the bed and my desk, I proceeded to moving the locker, so I don't have to walk over to the other side of the room anymore. When I pushed the locker, it pushed me back. Literally! I was sliding on the floor instead of it. A silent ha-ha moment there :P but with a tiny tweak in the physics of movement, I managed to put it (and the other locker) in its new place. Also moved the two extra chairs that I got over the holidays.

Already the room was feeling homely and more positively-vibed. Now, elbow grease time! Took the broom and swept it all over...You will NOT believe the amount and size of the DUST BUNNIES - they were hazardous and have the potential to choke! HAHAHA~ After that, final and minor tweaks to other stuff in the room - the roommate's stuff, my shoes, the laundry bucket, etc...and this is the end result...I HEART IT! :D

p/s: I still need to accustom myself to the new locker placement - I HAVE to stop walking over to the empty locker! :P

I HEART MY NEW ROOM LAYOUT! :D

TURN THE LIGHTS ON/BUANG SUEY

Looks like JT's Album Title Future Sex/Love Sounds.LOL~

..::TURN THE LIGHTS ON::..

Three nights of restless sleep due to the lights. I still can't bear turning off the lights. THANKS TO PARANORMAL ACTIVITY! I haven't been this freaked out for so long - not even the Japanese and Thai horror movies made me this afraid. LOL~

..::BUANG SUEY::..

I'm more and more touched by my friends' acceptance. It's a new year, and I wish to do some "spring-cleaning", "buang Suey", so to speak. And after cleaning out some REALLY unwanted trash, I find that positivity comes rolling in, in more ways than I could possibly imagine. This form of positivity - acceptance, love and budding friendship is one of the forms that I treasure the most. A BIG HUGE HUMONGOUS ENORMOUS THANK YOU!!

They're too raunchy for my Facebook crowd, so I'll post them here where the crowd's more exclusive. :)

::appreciation::

Late Night Entry. The Shisha's still running through my veins so I have pent-up ENERGY!

In Remote Sensing class this afternoon, I had small talk with my coursemate in class...while in class and another group was presenting their presentation, nonetheless. Turns out that he noticed my stressed-out look, my lethargic presence in class, my troubled visage...It was endearing that my coursemate takes interest in my personal affairs - he asked about the recent events that afflicted me. It struck me that these guys care for me more than I know and perceive. In my heart I am TREMENDOUSLY grateful for this. One of my new year resolutions is to repair and strengthen ties between me and all of my friends. From what I see, they have been more supportive and helpful; I'm getting more positive feedback, and be more accepted. Maybe there was a curse lifted from my life, as the recent departure of a certain entity has made the world seem like an easier and friendlier place to live. I shall return these acts of kindness, thoughtfulness and spirit of camaraderie; I should participate more in their lives as they have in mine. ALHAMDULILLAH for such positivity...may things keep getting better, AMIN.

I was chatting with a friend of mine (I think I've mentioned him in earlier blogs) and he continued sharing with me the joys of being a father. Along with such lofty joys, however, there will be downturns, and people attempt to pull him down; nasty words and behind-the-back talking was thrown at him. This is very much expected, especially in our society full of Busybodies and People-Who-Can't-Stand-Seeing-Other-People-Being-Happy. Well my friend, we've all been there at one point (or may points) of our lives; we shall LIVE STRONG and STAND TALL as we are the right ones in the situation. People may talk all they want, but they shall be blinded by their own ignorance and deafened by their own nasty words. And windfall keeps coming to him too, it seems; it's true what they say - having children will bring you much joy and blessings from The Almighty.

I just HAD TO escape from the week's hectic work today. So I sought my old KML friend and asked her if she'd be interested in having a night out. Turns out her roommate's raring to go out too, so off we went for an outing after 9pm just now. We ate dinner at Singgah Selalu in Danga Bay. Her roommate was yearning for shisha, and since I've never had it before, I decided to have it too. It's euphoric - of course first-timers will be afflicted by the occasional cough-and-choke. But it was so nice and such a good method of escapism, that we had two flavors that night! I felt light (but I wasn't high, mind you). Afterwards when time came for us to pay, I found myself walking rather clumsily and loftily...I hope it wasn't THAT obvious. :P
